Dr Jiménez is associate professor at the University of Seville’s Department of Developmental and Educational Psychology. Her interests include the design and evaluation of family support programmes, particularly for families at psychosocial risk. She is Chair of the European Family Support Network (EurofamNet), which brings together European researchers, professionals and policymakers who work in this area.
She has experience in advising practitioners, public and private institutions on child and family support programmes’ implementation and evaluation.
She is participant and project manager of several granted research projects related to the design and evaluation of family education and support programmes, particularly aimed at vulnerable families.
She is former national representative of the Young Researchers Union from the European Association for Developmental Psychology.
